My name is Kay Wettlaufer. I was born in Indiana but grew up in Iowa. I graduated from Moringside College in Sioux City, Iowa with a B.A. degree in elementary education. My husband, Bruce, works in the lab at Lafayette Regional Hospital. I have two step children: Heather 36 lives in Casper, Wyoming, and Gabe 32 lives in San Jose, California. My husband and I have two children of our own: Adam, a Junior  and Holly a Freshman also attending the University of Mo. - Columbia.  I taught one year in Nebraska and I have taught 2nd grade for twenty one years in Slater.
