I am Deanna Wright, a graduate from Missouri Valley College with a major in Elementary Education.  I also received a Middle School endorsement in grades 5-9. I also have an Associates of Arts from State Fair Community College. I have taught for fourteen years with a year in Gilliam and one year in Hughesville. I have taught fourth grade in Slater for twelve years. 

I have lived in Slater since 1979.  My husband Wayne works for Lafarge Rock Quarry.  We have two daughters Mackenzie age 15 and Breanna age 11.  We are members of the Union Baptist Church north of Marshall.  I help teach Wednesday night Jr. High/ High School youth group.  I enjoy camping as well as traveling during the summer and on weekends. I also enjoy reading.
