My name is Nancy Thompson. I was born in Kansas City, Missouri in 1952. I am married with six biological children, ages 22-30, and three foster daughters, ages 17, 18, and 19. I received my B.S. in Education at the University of Missouri. I also received my Master of Music Education at Vandercook College of Music in Chicago, IL. I have taught a total of ten years all together, the last five being here in Slater. In my spare time I like to read, play the piano, and bake. I have six grandchildren, ages two months up to eleven. I am a graduate of Marshall High School. My husband runs and owns a wood pallet business on the West side of Marshall. I conduct the adult choir at St. Peter's Catholic church in Marshall. I am a member of the Marshall Community Choir. I enjoy teaching K-12 vocal music at Slater High School!
