I grew up in Winslow, Arizona and
came to Missouri to attend Missouri Valley College on a basketball
scholarship. I graduated in 1985 with a degree in Physical Education and
came to the Slater School District the fall of 1985. I am currently in my
23rd year of teaching. At Slater, I serve as the Athletic Director and also
coach Girl's Basketball and Boys/Girls Track. I teach physical education to
students ranging from Kindergarten, Junior High, and High School.
I am married to Debbie Gonzalez who
also teachers Business Education here. We have two daughters, Rachel and
Mary Rose.
In my spare time I enjoy
fishing, hunting, golfing, lifting weights, and helping out with my
daughter's activities.
