My name is Jean Dowell. I was born in Paris, MO. My husband's name is Gary. I have three daughters, Melanie a high school math teacher in Raytown, Amy who works at Sprint, and Sara a recreational  coordinator on D.D. Eisenhower Aircraft Carriers, VA.

I received my B.S. from MVC, my Masters in Elementary Administration from CMSU, and Ed Specialist in Elementary at MU.

This is my 31st year in education; 4 years in Marshall, 11 years in Gilliam C-4, and the last 16 here at Slater.

In my spare time I enjoy reading and gardening. I enjoy following MU football and basketball and Royals baseball. I also enjoy Brain teasers, Sudoku, and crossword puzzles.
