Myra Jones is a Slater native. She was a graduate from Slater High School and later returned to teach Language Arts for 35 years. Now she has been the A+ Coordinator for seven plus years. Mrs. Jones has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Missouri Valley College and a Master of Liberal Arts Degree from Baker/Southern Methodist Universities. Her husband Sam is the Saline County Treasurer. They have two children together, son Dan and daughter Ginger. Mrs. Jones also has four grandchildren- Glenna Jones, Elijah Davis, Nathaniel Jones, and Kale Brucks.
