Jodi Fuemmler is finishing her 6th year on the Slater School Board. Jodi truly enjoys the members she has served with, they have, "the best interests of our students, faculty, support staff and districts as a whole, at heart." Jodi enjoys being able to see what goes on behind the scenes first hand. She also appreciates the amount of time and effort the community, staff, businesses, private organizations, and parents put into our school. Jodi also emphasizes the importance of grant writing which can contribute to and improve specific areas of our school.

Jodi is a Slater High School Alumni and married her husband Doug in 1980. Together they have 2 wonderful children in the district, Lindsay and Tanner. She says that her family is very supportive of one another and the interests that each of them pursue.

Jodi would like to see the Slater School District continue to offer the best education possible to the students of our district. "We have a wonderful staff of caring and dedicated teachers, a lot of whom are graduates of Slater themselves. I am a strong supporter of the ITV Program, A+ Program, Dual Credit courses, Vocational-Technical School involvement, and would like to see a gifted program at the elementary level."

Jodi gives this advice, "Slater Public Schools has much to offer, take advantage of it. Get involved and be proud to be a Wildcat!"
